We have all accepted that we are living in the technological era and we want new technologies to work when we need or face any problem.Everyone wants to abstract the new ideas rather than understanding the working principle and details how it runs.This leads to a misconception and wrong perception of thoughts.

Also in case of phone technologies there are several misconceptions and myths about phone on which we are discussing.

1. RAM boosting apps :-

Most people think that there are some apps which are available on the internet or play store which will boost your RAM and boost your phone performance. This s one of the biggest myth ever found in using multimedia phones. 

Firstly keep in mind that no application can enhance the RAM of your phone or boost up the performance ratio. They can only cleanup the recent activities of your phone and repeatedly cleaning of recent activities of your phone can lead to slow down your phone because your phone will restart the application from the first step.

2. Don't charge your phone overnight :-

This is one of the biggest rumored myth about charging of phones.This myth stopped being true ages ago. In past time if you charge your phone overnight it will cause overheat and can explode or destroy phone also.

But due to advancement of new technologies new phones stop charging after 100% of battery status and charging overnight doesn't have any adverse effect on phones.

This myth is not only rumored on phones but at any electronic gadget.In new electronic gadgets there is an inbuilt overcharging protection circuit which do not allow battery to overcharge.

3. Battery should be completely discharged before recharging it :-

This myth is true in past time when we use nickel-cadmium batteries which has an issue of storing battery memory,. In these cases recharging before completely discharging repeatedly cause to never charge it totally again.

But now a days we use lithium ion batteries which doesn't have the issue of battery memory. In fact, in lithium ion batteries you do more harm by discharging it to 0% because they have limited charging cycles.In reality enemy if new batteries is temperature. Too hot or too cold lead to destroy the battery.

4. More RAM means better performance :-

This is also a myth of phone user that if your phone have more RAM that means your phone is faster. Performance doesn't depends upon how much RAM but there are different configurations of phones to perform functions fast.

Performance depends up[on the combination of RAM, processor, storage, operating system etc.

So, there is no direct connection between RAM and the performance.

5. More megapixels means better camera :-

This misconception rumored at least over a whole generation. If anyone wants to buy a camera they first ask about how much megapixel is that nut this doesn't meant it is a high quality camera nut other aspect also affect the qualities of photos taken by that camera.

A myth about photos is that the more space a photo can take the more clear the picture is. in fact, in different lightning conditions a 5 mp camera get better image then a 12 mp camera.

6. Phones cause cancer :-

Yes, it is true that a phone can emit certain amount of energy in the for of radiation but it doesn't mean that it is causing any type of cancer to you. In fact the only effect found due to phone is to emit a small amount of heat to the body closest to phone which is in use. There is no interconnection between phones and cancer and neither any study explained it till now.

A phone can only cause the eye strain, in some cases forgetting thing but doesn't cause you cancer.

7. Apple phones doesn't infected by viruses :-

This is not true according to a survey of 100000 people , one in every five user carry malware virus in phones. Not only phones but mac computers also get some sort of malware  virus in the system.

There are different theories which say that apple have less infected by viruses but it is not complete truth.

There is no agreement on these theories but a strong myth that apple doesn't infected by viruses.

8. Incognito browsing keeps your activities anonymous :-

Everyone use this feature of browsing when the are going through a privacy stuff. There are different names like private browsing or private search but they do all same. They can only cleanup your browsing history but they do leak your privacy like tracking of different websites, your location.

That is how other website gives ads to you on this particular website because they are counting your searches. You can only use fully private service at TOR.

9. Using phones at petrol station pumps :-

 Other then the warning at the petrol station there is no verified proof  of being a blast at petrol pump due to mobile phones. In spite you are disturbing other with your phone call or distracting others. But if it a rule of petrol pump then follow this carefully but there is no connection that phone can ignite the vapor of petrol at petrol stations.

But there are some theories proved that smoking and rubbing your car seat can ignite petrol due to static charges interaction.

10. Your have secure WiFi network :-

There is no one who can ensure you that you are using a fully protected network from hackers as they are use different technique and tools to find a loop hope and destroy your security.If you are using a WPA or WPA-2 PSK security you are not safe from professional hackers but you all safe from a normal person who don't know how to hack it.

You can protect your WiFi up to some extent by improving your protection by encrypting what’s on your computer and by using very strong passwords with upper and lower case letters and a variety of symbols.

So,these are some common tech myth that you need to stop believing them.
